Step 1: Explaining Your Problem By Email

Email Us ( avhgoa@bsnl.in ) with a brief description of your problem. If possible, attach a picture of the affected region or problem to better help our doctors with their consultation. We will usually respond to queries within 48 working hours. If you are still not satisfied with our initial reply feel free to mail us again citing your previous query for record. This way we can maintain an individual record of your case.

Do note that at times emails get lost due to the sheer volume that our webhost processes and if you do not get a reply within a week please do send us a copy of your email again.

Step 2: Sending Your Pictures To Us By Email

While emailing your pictures to us please resize/compress each image to under 50Kb else our mail server may not be able to process your email. Ensure that the images sent offer different angular views of the affected region.

Step 3: Confirming The Cost Of Surgery

Once you have consulted our staff and have received their medical opinion we can give you a cost estimate based on your surgery and other costs (if any) that will be incurred by you for the same. Please proceed further only if the rates are suitable for you.

Note: We accept payments in Foreign Currency. We also accept payments by all major Credit Cards.

Step 4: Legal Formalities

You will have to sign a consent form or similar document with us before your surgery.

Also, you will need a VISA to visit India and before booking your flight ticket, so please complete those formalities at your end. There may be other requirements such as taking vaccinations for Hepatitis A & B which some countries prescribe for their citizens before travelling to India.

Step 5: Arranging An Escort To Assist You

If you are a first time traveller and feel that you cannot make it to our hospital of your own accord, you can avail of our Escort Services. You will have to inform us well in advance of your exact date, time, flight no. and airlines you will be travelling with. We will then email you the details of your escort such as Taxi No., Mobile No., Image of Escort (if available). Depeding on your time of arrival you will be escorted to either the hospital or to a hotel for an overnight stay. Those escorted to the hotel will be brought to the hospital the next day for your appointment with the doctor.

Step 6: Getting Help To Reach Us On Your Own

If you feel that you are competent enough to travel to our hospital or have visited Goa before then we suggest you go through our guidelines for the same.

Please confirm from us before hand the exact date/time of your appointment with the doctor and only then go ahead ad make your travel arrangements.

Step 7: Pre-Operative Investigations

At this stage you will already be in Goa and will be either escorted or will have arrived on your own to our hospital. You will then have to undergo some pre-operative investigations to confirm your fitness for general anaesthesia.

Other tests depend on your on your surgical procedure. They include Haemogram/ Complete Blood Counts/ ABO Group & Rh Typing/ Blood Urea Nitrogen and Creatinine/ Blood Sugar or Glucose Tolerance Test/ Thyroid profile/ Lipid profile/ Serum for Australia Antigen (HBs Ag EIA)/HIV 1 & 2 Ab EIA/ VDRL/ Urine Analysis, Electrocardiogram and Chest X-Ray.
