| In cases of traumatic spinal injuries or pathological fractures of the spine, spinal instrumentation is a must in form of pedicular screw fixations, cervical plating, etc. After such instrumentation procedures, the patient can be immediately mobilized unlike in the past. (Mandatory bed rest for a couple of hours). |
| One of the most common complaints in the Orthopaedic Out-Patient department. The causes are multiple; bad sitting posture, severe bad loading by bending and lifting heavy items and poor or lack of back exercise. The procedure practiced is Minimal Access Surgery in the form of microlumbar discectomies and fenestration. |
